The 4 Steps of the 'Not Yet' Loop

So many capable Christian women find themselves circling this exact same cycle:

The 'Not Yet' Loop
  1. 01

    The Stirring

You sense God nudging you towards something, but you don't know what the next step looks like.

  2. 02

    The Waiting

You wait for a sign or certainty. In the waiting, the noise creeps in: "You're not together enough yet. You're not healed enough. Fix yourself first."

  3. 03

    The Capacity Shift

Real life keeps happening externally. Work, family, caring for others. The capacity you had when the call first came isn't there anymore.

  4. 04

    The Guilt & Stalling

You feel guilty because you haven't moved. So you hide behind "I'm fine, I'm fine," until you feel the stirring again, and so the loop continues...

...and back to The Stirring again.

Gideon was hiding when God called him a mighty warrior.

You don't need the whole staircase. Just the next faithful step.

You don't have to be finished to take your next step. A PACE session breaks the loop with one clear step.

Not another endless chat.

Most AI tools will talk with you for hours, tell you what you want to hear, or ask you to become the prompt engineer.

When you're already carrying so much, you don't need to stay in technician mode managing another system.

You need a space that holds the structure for you. Time & Pace asks one question at a time, which are rooted in Naomi's methodology and coaching process after a decade of coaching, keeps Scripture at the centre, and always lands on a step you can actually take.

It isn't therapy, and it isn't a replacement for prayer or your church.

It's a place to pause, pray and move.

“I can genuinely see this becoming one of my most-used apps...”

Founding member message: I've just finished a PACE coaching session and wow. In about 10 minutes I feel like I've been given clarity and finally allowed to breathe. I came away with a realistic plan of action that feels manageable.

WHAT YOU LEAVE WITH

  • Your next step, written down.
  • A date to complete it.
  • A custom-created affirmation and verse to carry with you, anchored in the next step taken from your session.
  • A check-in email on the day it's due.

No endless chat, just one step you'll actually take.

Your next step

Focus: Deciding whether to say yes to the new role

Book a 20-minute call with my manager to ask what the role would really involve.

By Thursday, 5 November

I don't need the whole staircase. I am faithful with the step in front of me.

“Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed.” Proverbs 16:3 (WEB)

It's the next step, not the whole staircase. Keep going, keep growing 🌿

WHY IT WORKS

Four letters. One clear way through.

Your session will walk you through ‘PACE’, a method created and used by Naomi when working with coaching clients. You're guided one question at a time, so you can't get lost in it, with Scripture woven through and checked against the World English Bible.

  1. 01

    Pinpoint

    Name what's really going on.

Most of us start with ten things at once. Pinpoint helps you find the one that's actually weighing on you, so the rest of the session works on the real issue.

  2. 02

    Assess

See where you are right now.

An honest look at your season, your capacity and what's already in your hands. No judgement, just a clear picture of today.

  3. 03

    Consider

Look at your options with God.

With Scripture woven in, you explore what could move things forward. You stay in charge of the decision; the questions help you see it.

  4. 04

    Execute

Commit to one step, with a date.

You leave with one realistic next step, the day you'll do it, an affirmation and a verse. Then a check-in email arrives on that day.

And the check-in on your step's day helps you follow through.

HOW IT WORKS

15–20 minutes, no prep.

Choose how to begin:

HOW PACE CAME ABOUT

Everyone tells you to ‘make the task smaller.’ Nobody shows you how.

When I became a mother, my capacity completely shifted. The way I used to work and plan didn't fit my reality anymore. I had to learn how to break things down into smaller, truer pieces, not just because it made practical sense, but because survival required it.

We hear “just make the task smaller” all the time, but when your head is full and you're overwhelmed, let's be real, half the time you don't even know how to make the thought smaller.

That's why Time & Pace began in 2021, first as a paper journal with the headline “Take 15 minutes of TIME to map out and master the pace of your day”, and now distilled into this companion.

PACE didn't come from a theory. It was born from a decade of coaching women, in-depth community research with over 100 women seeking clarity, and dissecting dozens of real coaching conversations to map the exact breakthrough path: making the thought and the step smaller.

Why ‘One Next Step’?

  1. 10+ yrs

    STEP 01

    A decade of coaching

Distilling more than ten years of 1:1 coaching patterns, client breakthroughs and real conversational rhythms into the questions that actually move women forward.

  2. 2021

    STEP 02

    The physical beginning

Founding Time & Pace and launching The TIME Journal: “Take 15 minutes of TIME to map out and master the pace of your day.”

Two TIME Journals, green and pink, held over a bed of rosesThe green hardback TIME JournalA stack of TIME JournalsPink and green TIME Journals held side by side
It takes the anxiety out of trying to ‘maximise the day’ and instead to think about what's actually important on a given day. It's helping me to listen.
    Funmi, physical TIME Journal user
I love that it doesn't take a lot of time to complete, but it helps me to focus on what is important spiritually, physically and in my business.
    Melanie, physical TIME Journal user
This is a great tool to help you figure things out at your own pace.

  3. 2025

    STEP 03

    The universal need

In-depth research with over 100 women confirmed that the number one missing piece isn't more willpower.

    89

women asked for clarity & direction over everything else.

WHAT WOMEN SAID THEY NEEDED HELP WITH

    • Clarity and direction89
    • Time to actually process things with God48
    • Peace and rest42
    • Emotional strength or resilience34
    • Better routines or rhythms30
    • Accountability or encouragement20

Time & Pace community survey, July 2025. 133 responses; each woman could choose more than one need.

  4. Now

    STEP 04

    The breakthrough

Making the thought and the step smaller.

PACE guides you question by question from a foggy mind to one doable, dated step in 15–20 minutes.

WHAT FOUNDING MEMBERS SAID

In their own words.

Founding member message: Oh my days, this app! Are you joking?!
Founding member email: Just wow, I was wrong. I went through my first PACE and it was so good. I didn't realise how much I was carrying and needed that.
Founding member email: I set a task which I excitedly did yesterday. I feel a breaking away of a bit of the blockage. The small move has encouraged me to do a bit each day.
Founding member email: Just want to say this is a really clever system.
